William ""Bill"" Kieth Taylor

Bill Taylor, 63, a beloved husband, father, brother and friend to so many passed away unexpectedly November 12, 2017. He was born April 23, 1954 in Tucson, AZ and resided in Henderson for the past 35 years. Bill and his wife Susan were also part time residents of Green Valley AZ for 10 years.
Bill retired as a Production Manager after 27 years with Tronox. After retirement beyond spending lots of time with his family Bill cultivated several passions to include: Astrophotography, Music, Woodworking and Travel.
Astrophotography - Bill was an active member of the Las Vegas Astronomical Society. His fellow members knew him as someone who was ""always willing to share his love of the Night Sky with everyone he met"".
Music - Bill loved listening to music of many genres but especially classic rock and roll. Bill also composed tunes and everyone enjoyed listening as he gracefully played the piano. The past few years many were blessed when Bill shared his talent by recording a CD at Christmas time for family and friends.
Woodworking - Over the years Bill made several pieces of furniture for the Las Vegas home he shared with his wife. He also made tables, stands and other furniture for many friends. Each piece he crafted was of the highest quality and a true work of art.
Travel - Bill and his wife Susan traveled extensively with the Las Vegas Good Sam's. One of Bill's favorite activities were exploring uncharted territory and taking photos of nature. Bill especially enjoyed returning to the campsite at the end of a day spending time around the fire and talking with friends.
No matter what he was doing Bill quickly made friends and made each person he talked with believe that he deeply cared about them as a person. He was the true definition of a friend. Bill was loved by all who had the opportunity to meet him.
Bill is preceded in death by his mother and father Jean and Barney Taylor
Bill is survived by his beloved wife Susan; son Geoff (Heather) Taylor; grandchildren Zoe and Pyper Taylor all of Henderson; brother Mike (Susie) Taylor of Tucson; sister's and brother's in-law Patty, Carol, Bill, Don, Anna, Roberta; cousins Carol, Joan, Gary and Jim; numerous nieces, nephews, and a large extended family who all loved him dearly.

Enjoy the Heavens from your eternal perspective, Bill. You will remain in our hearts forever.
