Willie Ellis

I willie Ellis was born February 28, 1941, to Edgar and Gussie Ellis in Louisiana. We moved to California when I was about three years old. When I grew up and graduated from high school I worked at various jobs until I went to work for Matherson Trucking. I worked there for over 25 years. When I retired, I moved to Tennessee with my wife. We lived there for fifteen years. While there I was employed and Home Depot until my call to leave this life and join my heavenly family on June 20, 2022. I was known as Bobby to some of my family and friends. I always tried to be a true friend, to love and treat everyone with love. I loved my family very much and treasured all the time I had. The love of my life Betty Ellis and I had over 24 years of happiness. My parents, sister Gloria Ellis and brother Jessie Ellis preceded me. Left to mourn and miss me are my wife Betty Ellis, daughters Rebecca and Alexander Smith of Texas, Evonda Robinson of California, Sons Willie Ellis Jr of California, Bahati and Loushica Worley of California, Rory and Porcia Worley of Indiana, Ragau and Tina Mayfield of California. Raphael Jones of Texas, Foamansa Worley, Calvin Worley of California. A host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
