Beverly Joan Saunders

Beverly Joan Saunders, born October 30, 1937, to Egbert H. Haney and Carmen Dean Doney, passed away on December 28, in Las Vegas, Nevada at the age of 82.  She married Fred Clyde Saunders in October of 1958 and together raised three sons.  

She was preceded in death by her husband Fred and her eldest son Clyde Fred Saunders.

Joan is survived by her eldest son’s wife Kathy Saunders and their son Nickolas, her second son Curtis Lamont Saunders (wife Kelly, and two sons, Wyatt and Tristan) her youngest son Jared (wife Heather and daughter Presley), grandson Jon Paul Saunders (wife Janelle and sons Atlas and Fits).  She is also survived by her brothers Alan Haney, Larry Haney, Roger Haney, and Bob Haney as well as many wonderful other family members.

Joan opened her home in the 1970s and started a successful day-care.  She touched many families and countless children’s lives until her retirement in 2001. 

Services will be held Monday, January 6th at 1:00 p.m. at Davis Funeral Home at 6200 South Eastern, Las Vegas, NV.
