Clarence Gawain Jackson

Clarence Gawain (CJ) Jackson of Henderson, Nevada, passed away unexpectedly on April 18, 2021. Clarence was born on March 21, 1970 in Long Beach, California. He is survived by his mother and stepmother, Neysa and Liz McFarland: father Clarence Jackson; brother Charles (Chuck) Jackson and his family; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, friends who are family and by his loving Morkies, Tasha and Mia Jackson. He is the grandson of the late Gawain and Evelyn Funk of Plymouth, Indiana.

CJ graduated in 1988 from Plymouth High School in Plymouth, Indiana and then went on to obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Aviation Management from Southern Illinois University, with Cum Laude honors.  Dr. Byron and Mary Holm, from Plymouth, Indiana helped CJ with his dream career of flying. He learned to fly with the teachings of Jeff Rowe at the Steel Warehouse, in South Bend, Indiana.

CJ was an employee of United Airlines Inc. for 26 years. He was promoted to Captain on May 25, 2001.

CJ loved flying both International and Domestic, DJ’ing, traveling the world, and the Vegas’ nightlife.

Per CJ and his Family’s wishes, there will be no service. In lieu of Flowers any Memorial donations can be sent to an Animal Shelter/Rescue of your choice, because of his love for animals.
